The newest member of our family

Ken's new car is here! It felt like forever while we were awaiting his arrival. Since he's black & tan, I'm thinkin' Guiness is a great name for him. :) Hyundai Elantra Touring, Black pearl with tan interior and premium sport package. Chloe is anxious for a ride.

Gettin' Dirty!

FIVE years and we're still gettin' dirty on our anniversary. We're calling this one our Dirt-iversary! This is what 8 cubic yards of sifted topsoil looks like. :)

Completely Amazing

"My" Tree

This fabulous crab apple tree at my parents' home blooms each year around my birthday, and this year was certainly no disappointment! I spied a little bumble bee enjoying the blooms too. :)

Turtle Time

Ken captured this turtle sunbathing near the creek this morning. (yes, he's alive...he's just living up to his stereotype of being slow)

First Communion

Today's big event was Jane's first communion. Here is a link to some photos from today's festivities.

Easter Sunday

Here are a couple of photos from Easter Sunday. Jeanette brought the lovely daffodils and made her famous lamb cake for dessert. Mmmm yummy! :) The colored eggs are compliments of Ken. Sorry, mom and dad, I was concentrating on the lamb cake and flowers and failed to get a picture of you on Easter. :(

IT'S HERE!

Our new camera is here, luckily I didn't have a SD card for 3 hours after picking up the camera. That, alone, forced me to read through all the information provided in the box. Loaded the software and then, once Ken arrived with the SD card, I proceeded to take pictures of EVERYTHING! (note to self...spend some quality time with a Swiffer cloth and DUST!) :o)
