Northern Flicker

This Northern Flicker has become a frequent visitor to our Lucite bird feeder which is suction cupped to the outside of our dining room window. He has recently discovered he fits INSIDE and has come to think of this as his home.

Hi Anne,
Thanks for visiting my blog and taking the time to post a sweet comment, I really appreciate that! I wasn't sure how else to contact you other than posting a comment here, as I can't see your e-mail address on your blog or anything. Anyway, to answer your question - my camera is a Canon Powershot A630. Not a recent model, it's a fairly standard digital camera. I use it on a macro setting with the highest possible resolution, and take photos using natural light (we're in summer in NZ right now so there's plenty!). Hope that helps!
